Behind the scenes at your favorite festivals, corporate and sporting events, our passionate chefs craft flavorful and comforting cuisines to fuel your backstage team. We pride ourselves on offering an experienced, friendly, and adaptable service in a full-scale dining environment. As a self-contained, independently-owned operation, we do not rely on rentals or chaffers; instead, our full-time crew, armed with 30 years of experience, delivers a top-notch "restaurant" experience that your crew craves.
Our Origin Story
In the early 2000s, Professional Catering Services established its roots in Maine, soon becoming the backstage caterer at some of the nation's largest festivals. Our founder, Kerry Luther, previously a firefighter, restaurant owner, and entrepreneur, expanded into the catering industry through one-off gigs and events at the local civic center in Falmouth, Maine. His leadership style, honest work ethic, and trust in his crew of chefs quickly built the foundations for success. Over the years, the business grew throughout the East Coast, serving small private festivals and adapting alongside the growing event industry.
From The Gathering of the Vibes to serving the most impactful music artists of our time, such as The Rolling Stones, Phish, and Beyonce, our dedication to serving versatile and creative food, teamwork, and adaptability have maintained consistent quality. Today, you can find our team serving up delectable cuisine to crews and artists alike. In the early mornings, people stroll into the catering tent for the abundant breakfast buffet, greeted by Kerry and other crew members flipping eggs to order at the omelet station - a signature detail that makes everyone feel at home.
