Welcome to Sanders Ridge Vineyard and Winery, a family-owned and operated estate winery located in the heart of the Yadkin Valley Wine Appellation. Our history dates back to 1840, when John Benjamin Shore settled the original 800 acres of our farm. For over 180 years, our family has been farming this land, and it is our pleasure to share our passion with you.

Our Story

Our 15-acre vineyard was established in 2001, and we grow a variety of grapes including Viognier, Chardonnay, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Muscat Canelli, Chambourcin, and two varieties of muscadine grapes - Carlos and Noble. All of our wines are made from the grapes grown here in our vineyard, and are crafted by our winemaker in our on-site winery.

Amenities

At Sanders Ridge Vineyard and Winery, we offer a range of amenities and services to enhance your visit. Our estate-grown wines are available for purchase year-round, and we offer wine tastings, pairing dinners, live music, and cabin rental. We can comfortably accommodate up to 200 guests for weddings and private events.

Weddings and Events

Our waterfront gazebo ceremony area is just steps away from our rustic and towering winery reception area, making it a breathtaking and premier private event space. We are a proud recipient of Wedding Wire's 2019 Couples' Choice Award.

Cabin Rental

Can't pack in all of the wonderful sights and sounds of the Yadkin Valley into one day? We've got you covered! Our 400 sq. ft. cabin is available year-round, accommodates up to four guests, and is just minutes away from 40+ Yadkin Valley vineyards and wineries. Your rental also comes with a complimentary wine tasting for two.
