At Rocking Horse Ranch Preschool, we believe in creating an environment where children can explore, learn, and grow. We are a play-based school, which means we understand the importance of children engaging with their surroundings and interacting with others. Our school is located on two beautiful acres in Soquel, offering a wide range of activities and experiences for our students.

Our philosophy is centered around providing children with a safe and supportive environment where they can develop their fine motor skills, learn through music, engage in age-appropriate learning activities, and explore the beauty of nature. We believe that children learn best when they are actively engaged in the learning process and feel confident and supported in their endeavors.

Our Teachers

Our teachers at Rocking Horse Ranch Preschool are dedicated to providing each child with the support and stimulation they need to successfully navigate their pre-kindergarten years. They understand the importance of fostering a positive and encouraging environment, where children can feel successful and build their confidence. With each accomplishment, our children gain more and more confidence to tackle new challenges and continue their growth and development.

Our Services

We offer a variety of services designed to meet the needs of our students and their families. These include:

• Full day sessions from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Half-day AM sessions from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM
• Half-day PM sessions from 1:30 PM to 5:30 PM
• Early morning session from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM (beginning August 12th)

We also offer a 10% discount on fees for a second child enrolled in our program.

Admissions & Enrollment

To enroll your child at Rocking Horse Ranch Preschool, they must be at least 2 and a half years old. The first step in the enrollment process is to attend an open house, which we encourage you to attend with your child. This will give you an opportunity to tour our school and grounds, as well as learn more about our program, philosophy, goals, daily schedule, and teachers. We keep a balance of boys and girls, as well as children of different ages, so we use our waiting list to fill openings as they become available.
