At Mental Health Resource Center (MHRC), we are committed to providing a wide range of behavioral health services to individuals of all ages and families. Our mission is to help people improve their well-being and achieve their goals by offering comprehensive behavioral healthcare and social services. With over 40 years of experience, we have established ourselves as a leader in the behavioral health and social services field.

Our Services

Our services include 24-hour emergency services, inpatient psychiatric services for children, adolescents, and adults, as well as numerous outpatient services such as psychiatric evaluations, medication management, counseling, and psychosocial rehabilitation. We also offer state hospital liaison services, forensic services, in-jail services, a co-responder program, a therapeutic family program, and eight Florida Assertive Community Treatment (FACT) programs for adults with severe and persistent mental illness.

All MHRC programs are accredited by The Joint Commission, ensuring that our services meet the highest national standards for quality healthcare. Our core values of integrity, compassion, and excellence guide our decisions and actions as we strive to provide services of the highest quality and effectiveness.

New Outlook Apartments

We also manage two apartment complexes, New Outlook, Inc. and New Outlook II, Inc., which provide permanent, independent living arrangements for individuals with psychiatric disabilities. These projects are operated under Section 811 and are regulated by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) with respect to rental.

History

Founded in Jacksonville in May 1977, MHRC is a Florida nonprofit corporation dedicated to providing behavioral health and social services to the community. Since 1989, our programs have been fully accredited by The Joint Commission, and we continue to strive for excellence in our services.
