At Life Journey Counseling, LLC, we understand that life's journey can be complex and challenging. Our licensed mental health counselor, Monica Tsai, LMHC, provides professional assistance to individuals, couples, and groups in a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment.

Our Services

We offer a wide range of services, including individual, couples, and group counseling sessions. Our areas of expertise include healing from childhood abuse, emotional trauma, grief, and mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, bipolar disorder, substance abuse, and personality disorders. We also provide counseling services for those struggling with life's circumstances, relationships, and personal growth.

Our counseling approach is based on Rogerian therapy, also known as person-centered therapy. This approach emphasizes the client's innate ability to heal and grow, and we work collaboratively to help you identify and achieve your goals. Our licensed mental health counselor, Monica Tsai, LMHC, uses highly interactive and moderately directive approaches, combining unconditional positive regard and an understanding of family systems with practical feedback to help you effectively address personal life challenges on your own terms.

About Our Counselor

Monica Tsai, M.A., LMHC, is a licensed mental health counselor with over 10 years of experience in the field. She graduated from Liberty University with a Master's degree in Professional Counseling and has worked in various settings, including residential addictions, crisis shelter, outpatient, day treatment, private practice, correctional, community, and school-based work. She is an active member of the Northeast Florida Association of Mental Health Counselors and has past memberships with the American Counseling Association and the Northeast Florida Council on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse.
