Psychiatric CARE is a mental health practice dedicated to providing comprehensive psychiatric care for children, adolescents, and adults. Led by Dr. Gerardo Sison, the practice is committed to promoting wellness and health in a caring and professional environment. With his extensive experience and dedication, Dr. Sison and his team are equipped to provide personalized care tailored to the unique needs of each patient.

The Practice

Psychiatric CARE is headed by Dr. Gerardo Sison, a practicing psychiatrist with over 20 years of experience serving the Pinellas county community. Dr. Sison is a graduate of Far Eastern University Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation and completed his residency at the University of Louisville and his fellowship at the University of South Florida. He specializes in child and adolescent psychiatry.

The practice is currently accepting new patients, and most insurance plans are accepted for your convenience. When visiting the practice for the first time, please arrive 10-15 minutes early to ensure timely registration. Don't forget to bring your photo ID, insurance card, new patient forms, and a list of your current medications, including dosage and frequency. Co-pays and co-insurance payments are due and collected at the time of service.

• Comprehensive Evaluation: We conduct thorough evaluations to determine all psychological and social factors contributing to a particular condition. After a comprehensive evaluation, patients may require medication or other treatment, and we provide further guidance and referrals as needed.
• Medication Management: Effective medication therapy is an essential part of care where necessary. We prescribe medications to help improve mood, relieve symptoms of depression, anxiety, or other conditions, and conduct comprehensive medication reviews to ensure there are no drug interactions with other medications you may be taking.
• Conditions We Treat: We specialize in diagnosing and treating a variety of conditions, including but not limited to Attention Deficit (ADD/ADHD), depression, anxiety disorders, panic disorder, bipolar disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), eating disorders, personality disorders, schizophrenia, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and more.

We are now providing telemedicine visits to ensure our patients have access to the care they need during these challenging times. To schedule a telemedicine appointment, call our office, and we will provide you with a link to begin your office visit at your scheduled appointment time.
