Capture the beauty of your story, one frame at a time.
My name is Maya Ray-Schoenfeld, and I'm a certified Rolfer, Craniosacral Therapist, and Yoga Teacher based in Seattle, Washington. I'm passionate about helping people achieve lasting relief from chronic pain, increased flexibility, and enhanced performance in their daily lives.
My Approach to Healing
My bodywork approach is holistic and empowering. I view the body as a complex system of interconnected structures held together by movement patterns. Through Rolfing, Craniosacral Therapy, and movement education, I gently guide your body towards newfound balance and alignment.
1. Rolfing Therapy
- Identifies and releases chronic tension and pain patterns in muscles, tendons, and fascia.
- Improves joint mobility and flexibility.
- Promotes deep relaxation and stress reduction.
2. Craniosacral Therapy
- Relieves tension in the head, neck, and spine.
- Improves balance and posture.
- Supports the functioning of the central nervous system.
3. Yoga
- Develops flexibility, strength, and balance.
- Reduces stress and anxiety.
- Enhances mindfulness and body awareness.
Addressing Your Needs
I tailor my sessions to address each client's unique needs and goals. I work with people suffering from:
- Chronic back pain and stiffness
- Repetitive strain injuries
- Postural imbalances
- Improved athletic performance
- Emotional and physical stress
My Journey
My fascination with the human body and its potential for healing led me to explore various modalities. I completed my Yoga Teacher training in 2007 and became a Certified Rolfer in 2012. My pursuit of knowledge continued with Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy certification in 2015 and Advanced Rolfer training in 2019.
