Our Story

I, like many of our customers, have always had a passion for fashion. Growing up, I was surrounded by the retail business - my great-grandfather was a large cloak and suit manufacturer in New York in the early 1900s, and my family later owned Furchgott's of Florida, a chain of specialty department stores in north Florida. After graduating from the University of Florida with a journalism degree, I began writing for small newspapers, but soon realized that newspaper reporting wasn't for me.

It was during my early 20s that I discovered the world of consignment and fell in love with it. Years went by, and in 1996, I opened the doors to Jill's Consignment in Orlando, Florida. As our business grew, so did our passion for providing exceptional customer service and building relationships with our consignors and clients.

We offer two options for selling your designer handbags: cash outright or consignment. With cash outright, we'll send you a check within 24 hours of receiving your items. With consignment, we'll send you a check or a Zelle payment within 30 days after your item sells.
