At Bunasawa Kai Judo, our mission is to educate, transform, and develop successful judokas in and out of the dojo. Founded in 1972 by Nori Bunasawa, a renowned 9th-dan and founder of Jukkendo, our organization is committed to providing a friendly and supportive environment for judokas of all ages and skill levels.
Our organization is led by Sensei Nori Bunasawa, a judo master with over 45 years of teaching experience. Sensei Bunasawa is a former all-Japan weight limit judo champion and 1975 U.S. world team coach. He has dedicated his life to perfecting and teaching the art of judo, and has studied under the tutelage of Kodokan judo 9th-dan, Masahiko Kimura, and Kenji Tomiki, founder of Tomiki-Akido.

At Bunasawa Kai Judo, we offer a range of programs designed to cater to judokas of all ages and skill levels. Our programs include:
Junior Judo Class
Beginners and intermediate age: 5-15 years old
Senior Judo Class
Beginners and intermediate ages: 16 years and up
Jukkendo Class
