Classes incorporate ukemi waza (falling techniques), tachi waza (standing techniques), and cooperative games to develop social skills while building physical fitness. The curriculum emphasizes proper etiquette and teamwork in a supportive environment.
Fundamentals Class
Designed for adults aged 13+, this class teaches essential judo techniques including proper falling, pinning, and grappling. Students learn safety protocols before progressing to throwing techniques, with randori (free sparring) sessions to practice skills against peers. The program builds foundational knowledge for competitive and recreational judo practitioners.
Advanced Training
Green belt and higher students refine complex techniques like kansetsu waza (joint locks) and sutemi waza (sacrifice throws). Classes focus on combination techniques, counters, and Japanese terminology mastery. Participants prepare for tournaments while developing advanced strategic thinking and technical precision through intensive drills and sparring.
Special Needs Program
