Our Business
Our business is built around acquiring, investing in, financing, and managing mortgage-related single family and multifamily residential assets. Our investment portfolio is diverse and includes credit-sensitive single family and multifamily assets, as well as more traditional types of fixed-income investments that provide coupon income, such as Agency RMBS. Our objective is to deliver long-term, stable distributions to our stockholders by combining net interest spread and capital gains from our diversified investment portfolio.

We provide debt and equity capital to owners and developers of multifamily properties across the U.S. Our investments in single family loans and securities also provide private capital to the U.S. housing market. We carefully manage our portfolio to achieve a substantial income while maintaining a steady or growing book value.
