Our mission is to secure a shared network of local and regional partnerships made up of farmers, producers, and service professionals. We believe in the power of collaboration and transparency in everything we do. We source at least half of our products from local farms and producers, ensuring that our patrons can enjoy the freshest, highest-quality ingredients in every dish and every pint.

Our Commitment to Quality

From our iconic brewery to our on-site restaurant, we are committed to serving great beer and good food that is crafted with love and care. Our beer is brewed on-site using traditional techniques and locally sourced ingredients, ensuring that every sip is a taste of the best that our community has to offer. Our menu is designed to showcase the unique flavors of our community, featuring dishes made with locally sourced ingredients and crafted with creativity and passion.

Our Management Team

Our management team is comprised of dedicated professionals who are passionate about food, beverage, and community development. Our General Manager, Tracy Schmidt, has over 20 years of management and team-building experience and is dedicated to strengthening the food and beverage culture in Alamance County. Our Head Brewer, Jeremy Hunt, is a true-to-style traditionalist who has been brewing since 2007 and is committed to creating a diverse selection of unfiltered, unpasteurized beers with up to 8 on tap at any one time.

Our Board of Directors

Our Board of Directors is comprised of individuals who are dedicated to the success of Burlington Beer Works and the local community. Jeff Wilkins, LEED AP, is an architect with a passion for sustainable design and a commitment to local farming practices. Peter Ustach, owner of Pandora's Pies in Elon, NC, is another member of our Board who is passionate about food, community, and local entrepreneurship.
