Yoga Mayu is a community-based yoga studio that prides itself on providing a genuine and sustainable yoga practice for its students. Located in the heart of San Francisco at 1501 b 20th Street, Yoga Mayu offers a variety of classes in a Vinyasa (flow) style in a comfortable and inviting environment. Our mission is to provide a safe space for students to develop a regular yoga practice, regardless of age or body type. We strive to provide individual attention to each student and are known for our down-to-earth and welcoming atmosphere.
Classes
Yoga Mayu offers a variety of classes suitable for all levels, from beginners to advanced students. Our classes are not taught in a hot yoga style and are heated to a comfortable temperature in the mid-70s. We offer a range of classes, from Vinyasa Flow to Hatha, Yin, and Restorative, each with its own unique focus and benefits. Our experienced and knowledgeable teachers provide modifications and adjustments to ensure that each student gets the most out of their practice.
Workshops
In addition to our regular class schedule, we offer workshops and special events throughout the year. Our workshops cover a range of topics, from arm balances and inversions to meditation and yoga philosophy. These workshops provide an opportunity for students to deepen their practice and learn from our experienced teachers in a more intimate and focused setting.

New Student Special
We offer a New Student Special of $60 for a 3-class pass. This is a great way to try out our studio and experience the benefits of a regular yoga practice.
Location and Parking
We are located in the Mission District of San Francisco, at 1501 b 20th Street. Metered and 2-hour limit street parking is available in the general vicinity of the studio.
Preparing for Your First Class
If you are new to Yoga Mayu, we recommend arriving 10-15 minutes before your first class to complete the liability paperwork and get settled. Please wear comfortable clothing that allows for ease of movement. We recommend bringing your own mat, but we do have mats available for rent. We also recommend bringing a water bottle and a small towel. If you have any injuries or medical conditions, please let your teacher know before class so they can provide modifications and ensure your safety.
