Our story begins with our owner, Dennis Henderson, who has worked in the Florida shrimp industry since he was a young boy. With his father's example, Dennis followed in his footsteps to become a boat welder and repairman. He eventually started his own boat welding and repair business, TriCo, and later acquired St. George Packing, which allowed him to own and operate his own shrimp boat fleet.
Our commitment to serving only the freshest seafood is unwavering. We believe that when you eat at Skip One Seafood Restaurant, you should experience the true taste of wild-caught American shrimp. We Source our shrimp from our own fleet of boats, which dock at our packing house, where we harvest and process our catch. This ensures that every shrimp platter served at Skip One is hand-peeled and deveined to order, and flash-frozen to lock in the flavor and texture.
