Our Story
Casamento's Restaurant is a New Orleans institution that has been serving up the finest seafood in the city for over 100 years. Founded in 1919 by Joe Casamento, an immigrant from the tiny Italian island of Ustica, our restaurant has been a staple of the New Orleans culinary scene for generations.
Our Menu

From our raw oysters, charbroiled to perfection, to our fried oyster sandwiches, crispy and delicious, we have something for every palate. Our seafood gumbo is a New Orleans classic, made with love and care by our Chef, and our fried seafood is gluten-free, so everyone can enjoy.

Our restaurant is available for private events on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday evenings. Our Hours
We're open Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., and Sunday from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. We're closed Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, June, July, and August, as well as all major holidays. Take-out is available during these hours.
