Our Mission and Vision

Our mission is to promote a safe and healthy community by providing prevention, treatment, and recovery support services that foster well-being and resilience. We envision a flourishing Greater New Orleans where every person thrives, free from the impacts of addiction and trauma. Our values are rooted in W.E. C.A.R.E., which stands for Welcome, Empathy, Committed, Advocate, Reliable, and Ethical. These principles guide our interactions with clients, partners, and the community at large.

Our Programs and Services

CADA Prevention & Recovery Center offers a wide range of programs and services designed to support individuals and communities affected by addiction and trauma. Our prevention services include substance abuse assessments, substance abuse education, and violence intervention programs. Our treatment services include intensive outpatient programs, case management services, and mental health counseling. We also provide resources and support for individuals and families affected by addiction and trauma.

Our Philosophy

Our program philosophy is centered around person-centered services, which means that we prioritize the unique needs, strengths, and abilities of each individual we serve. We believe that every person deserves a safe and supportive environment to address underlying issues and develop adaptive coping mechanisms. Our holistic approach incorporates family, friends, and community resources to provide a comprehensive support system for each individual.

Our Team

Our multi-disciplinary staff includes medical doctors trained in addiction medicine and psychiatry, licensed addiction counselors, licensed professional counselors, social workers, and other staff trained in the treatment of substance use, mental health, and co-occurring disorders. We are committed to providing evidence-based approaches that are effective in treating substance use, mental health, and co-occurring disorders.
