Overall Experience
The reviews range from a positive experience to a negative one. One author, LiveLaughLove AQueenCrownedInHerGlory, attended the school from 2015 to 2019 and had a generally positive experience. They highlighted the school's ability to facilitate conversations about cultural and financial issues, leading to a greater understanding of their identity as a black woman. They also praised many of the teachers, who they believed instilled wisdom in them.
On the other hand, Adrian had a very negative experience, giving the school a rating of 1 star. They reported being physically assaulted and robbed, which led them to never return to the school.
Strengths and Weaknesses
LiveLaughLove AQueenCrownedInHerGlory acknowledged that the school could benefit from having more programs, but ultimately found the school to be a positive experience. The intimate size of the school also allowed for a sense of community, with students feeling like they were part of a family.
In contrast, Adrian's experience was marred by negative incidents, which overshadowed any potential benefits the school may have offered.
