Transform your life by transforming your thoughts
Our Mission
At Mind to Mindful, we believe that everyone has the potential to thrive and live a life of happiness and fulfillment. To achieve this, we have developed a comprehensive range of services designed to help individuals manage their mental health, reduce stress and anxiety, and cultivate a deeper sense of well-being.
Our Services
Our flagship program, Managing Mood with Mindfulness, is an 8-week program that combines individual therapy, recorded lectures, written material, and brief homework assignments to teach the neuroscience and psychology of mindfulness. This program is designed to help individuals develop practical skills to reduce stress, depression, and anxiety, while enhancing happiness and overall well-being.
Our program is led by experienced instructors and features four 75-minute weekly live online group sessions, along with 3 minutes of daily homework. Topics covered in the program include the automatic cycle of attention, effortless moments of ease, and the neuroscience of ease.
About Our Founder
Mark Levine, M.D., is a board-certified psychiatrist and the founder of Community Psychiatry, one of the largest private multi-site group practices in California. For over 20 years, the practice has provided access to mental health services by accepting patients' insurance as payment in full. Dr. Levine has over 30 years of experience in both clinical and corporate settings, teaching individuals how to reduce stress and enhance well-being. He has completed his residency in psychiatry at California Pacific Medical Center in 1981 and received his MBA from the University of Michigan in 1999.
Why Mindfulness?
Stress, depression, and anxiety are common experiences that can affect anyone. Many events in life can be painful, but struggling with our own thoughts turns pain into suffering. We cannot change a negative thought that is already here, but we can influence the future direction of our thoughts by changing the chemical conditions in which molecules of thought, emotion, and sensation arise. By training a gentle, curious attitude of attention to whatever arises, even stressful thoughts and emotions, we stop struggling with our thoughts and our nervous system calms down.
Our Approach
At Mind to Mindful, we believe that everyone has the potential to thrive and live a life of happiness and fulfillment. We have developed a comprehensive range of services designed to help individuals manage their mental health, reduce stress and anxiety, and cultivate a deeper sense of well-being. Our approach is grounded in science and focuses on teaching practical skills to reduce stress, depression, and anxiety while enhancing happiness and overall well-being.
