Dr. David Shoemaker's journey in the field of clinical psychology began with his graduation from Hendrix College with a B.A. in Psychology. He then went on to receive his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Indiana State University in 1995. Dr. Shoemaker opened his practice in California in 1997 and, in 2020, relocated to Chapel Hill, North Carolina. His experience also includes serving as an adjunct faculty member at Indiana State University and California State University, Sacramento, over the years. In his spare time, Dr. Shoemaker enjoys music, cooking, meditation, and hiking.
