JACom CU is a not-for-profit financial cooperative that has been serving its members since 1951. We were originally established as L.A. Southwest Japanese Credit Union to assist the Japanese community in southwest Los Angeles in purchasing homes. Over the years, we have grown into a full-service financial institution serving nearly 9,000 members/owners throughout most of Southern California and beyond. Our mission is to provide high-quality financial services to our members while maintaining financial stability and security.
Membership Eligibility
JACom CU is a member-owned financial cooperative, which means that membership is limited to individuals who share a common bond of association. Our membership is open to members of the Japanese community, including those of Japanese descent, as well as their families and households. We also welcome employees and members of affiliated organizations, as well as residents of certain areas in Southern California. Customer Service Issues
