Welcome to St. James Preschool, a non-sectarian Christian school located in Langhorne, PA. We are proud to offer a child-centered curriculum with hands-on learning, focusing on the importance of play in a structured environment. Our school has been in operation since 1978, providing kindergarten readiness programs for over 40 years. Our Philosophy

At St. James Preschool, we believe that play is an essential part of the learning process. Our curriculum is designed to provide numerous opportunities for children to explore, discover, and learn about themselves and their world. We offer various programs for children aged 3 to 5, including 2-day, 3-day, 4-day, and 5-day programs. Each class is carefully planned to ensure individual attention and a low teacher-to-child ratio.

Class Options

Our 3-year-old program is designed for children who are 3 years of age by September 1st of the school year and are potty trained. The 2-day or 3-day program emphasizes body awareness, sensory development, fine and gross motor skills, language development, and readiness skills. The 4-Day Pre-Kindergarten Owls & Stars Program and the 5-Day Pre-Kindergarten Explorers Program are designed for children turning 4 years of age by September 1st of the current school year. These programs focus on preparing children for kindergarten.

Facilities and Security

Our school features 4 classrooms, an expansive fenced-in playground, and a great hall. We take the safety and security of our children very seriously, with measures in place to ensure a secure environment.
