Kid Time

Kid Time LLC was established in August, 2004, by Kathy Stephenson and Tara Manwaring. As working parents themselves, they recognized the need for quality childcare that would provide children with the physical outlet they crave, in a safe, spacious, and nurturing environment. With this mission in mind, they created Kid Time, a program that offers not only physical exercise but also homework help and a nutritious snack, making it a perfect solution for hard-working parents.

In October 2018, Kid Time lost its founding member, Kathy Stephenson, who will forever be in their hearts. Tara earned her Master's degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of North Dakota and has over 15 years of experience in various areas of childcare, preschool, and daycare. Laura Stephenson, Kathy's daughter, joined Kid Time as a new owner in January 2019. Laura has been working for Kid Time since 2016 and has managed their Mill Creek location for 2 years. She is now the Lead Director of Kid Time Cares, their full-day preschool and infant daycare. Laura completed her AA in Early Childhood Education at Bucks County Community College in May 2019 and received her BA in Early Childhood Education with a minor in Business Administration from Holy Family University in December 2022.

Our Services

Kid Time offers a variety of services tailored to meet the needs of children and their parents. These services include:

• Preschool/Infant Full Day Child Care Program for Infants through Preschool Age Children: This program is open from 6:30 am to 6:00 pm and provides a nurturing and stimulating environment for infants through preschool-aged children. Our experienced and trained staff provide age-appropriate activities and experiences that foster social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
• Before- & After-School Childcare: Our before- and after-school childcare program provides a safe and fun environment for school-aged children. We offer transportation to and from local schools, a healthy snack, and a variety of activities designed to keep your child engaged and active.
• Summer Camp: Our Summer Camp is open from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm for 10 weeks starting June 19, 2023. This program offers a variety of fun and exciting activities, including sports, arts and crafts, field trips, and more. Our experienced staff provide a safe and nurturing environment where children can make new friends and create lasting memories.
