About the Counselor

J. Mark McClamrock, MDiv, MAPC, LCMHC, has many years of experience in counseling. He is a licensed clinical mental health counselor and has worked with adolescents, individuals, couples, and families. Mark believes that God has placed him in this position to help others navigate life's challenges and find solutions through a deeper understanding of God's Word and its application to daily life.

Mark's approach to counseling begins with creating a comfortable and confidential environment. He listens carefully, asks thought-provoking questions, and helps you make sense of what has been confusing or problematic. The ultimate goal is the careful application of God's Word to your daily life, aiming to bring fulfillment and satisfaction in your relationships with God and others.

Ministry Background

Mark has been in ministry since 1984, working with children, youth, and adults while pursuing his education. He has pastored three churches and currently serves as Pastor of his fourth church. His experiences have taught him the value of support and the impact that caring people can have on one's life.

Counseling License

Mark holds a Master of Professional Counseling Degree from Liberty University and has completed thousands of hours in training and supervision to become licensed in North Carolina as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC). This license enables him to offer counseling services to the public.
