Our Story

The Shafer family has been a part of the natural products industry for decades, with Fred opening Taste of Dawn Natural Foods in 1976, a pioneer in the natural foods movement. After 41 years of operating Taste of Dawn Natural Foods, Fred and his daughter Sierra moved their operation to Harvest Moon in 2018, continuing the legacy of providing high-quality natural products to the community. Harvest Moon was founded in 1997 by John and Sally Malatros, who operated the store for 21 years before passing the torch to the Shafer family.

Our Services

At Harvest Moon Health and Nutrition, we offer a vast array of top-quality natural products, including whole food vitamins and supplements, organic foods and superfoods, bulk herbs and herbal extracts, pedigree probiotics supplements, sports nutrition supplements, full-spectrum CBD extracts, botanical skin and body care, natural first aid remedies, aromatherapy products, and ecological cleaning supplies. We also have a selection of unique gifts, cards, candles, incense, and more. Our store is open Monday through Friday from 10am to 6pm, Saturday from 10am to 5pm, and Sunday from 10am to 5pm.
