Founded in 1999, MarTar Swim School boasts over 60 years of combined experience among our instructors. Founders Marty and Tara Girch are seasoned swimmers with a deep understanding of aquatic safety and teaching methodologies. Their expertise allows them to tailor lessons to individual needs and empower swimmers at every level.
Inclusive Instruction
We recognize that every swimmer is different, and learning should be tailored to their unique abilities and anxieties. We avoid rigid level systems and focus on personalized instruction, meeting each student where they are. Specializing in Inclusivity
MarTar Swim School excels in catering to individuals with disabilities. We specialize in working with children and adults with autism, down syndrome, ADHD, PDD, cerebral palsy, and visual or auditory impairments. Our instructors utilize various modifications, adaptations, and techniques to ensure inclusivity and empower swimmers with disabilities to achieve their aquatic goals.
