Welcome to the Jefferson Union High School District, a community dedicated to providing high-quality education through equity and social justice. We are located in San Mateo County, California, and serve the communities of Daly City, Pacifica, and South San Francisco. Our district is committed to fostering a learning environment that values diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Our district is home to six comprehensive high schools: Adult Education, Jefferson, Oceana, Terra Nova, Thornton, and Westmoor. Each school offers a unique and challenging curriculum that prepares students for success in college, career, and life. We are proud to offer a wide range of academic and extracurricular programs, including Advanced Placement (AP) courses, career and technical education, visual and performing arts, athletics, and student leadership.

Our district is governed by a five-member Board of Trustees, who are elected by the community to represent the interests of our students, families, and staff. The Board is committed to ensuring that all students have access to the resources and support they need to succeed.

Educational Staff

Our district is fortunate to have a talented and dedicated team of educators and support staff. We are committed to providing our staff with the training and resources they need to be successful in the classroom and beyond. We offer a comprehensive professional development program that includes workshops, trainings, and coaching to help our staff stay up-to-date on the latest teaching strategies and technologies.

Housing 7-11 Committee

The Housing 7-11 Committee is a district-wide committee that focuses on addressing the housing needs of our staff. The committee is made up of representatives from each school site and the district office, and is committed to finding creative and sustainable solutions to the housing challenges facing our community.
