A Brief History of Our School

West Portal Lutheran School has been a cornerstone of the San Francisco community for over 70 years. Our Sloat Campus, located at 200 Sloat Blvd, serves students from 4th to 8th grade, while our Sunset Campus, located at 3101 Moraga Street, is home to our Kindergarten to 3rd-grade students. We are proud to offer a well-rounded education that includes a strong curriculum, technology integration, art, music, world languages, and a range of extracurricular activities. Our commitment to excellence has led to our accreditation by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges and the National Lutheran School Accreditation.
