Our History

Founded in 1982 by Brian Richards, our business has been built on a foundation of hard work, dedication, and a passion for creating beautiful, functional pieces of furniture. Brian's career in upholstery began part-time while he was in college, working at a custom drapery workroom. This hands-on experience sparked his desire to pursue a career in upholstery and eventually start his own business.

Over the years, Brian has honed his skills and developed a keen eye for detail, ensuring that every piece of furniture that leaves our workshop is of the highest quality. His commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction has made Richards Upholstery a staple in the community, with a reputation for delivering superior products and services.
