Our founder, Kevin Kennedy, began his journey in the upholstery business more than 40 years ago at Ruby's in Waltham, where he learned the art of upholstery from European Masters. Kevin's natural talent and dedication allowed him to become a professional in a matter of a few years. He opened his first store, Kennedy's Upholstery in Wellesley, before finally realizing his dream of opening Upholstery On Broadway in Arlington in 2010. Today, Upholstery on Broadway is a flourishing business with an 11-year legacy of excellence and a YouTube channel with over 14K subscribers.

Branching Out

The success of Upholstery on Broadway inspired us to share our knowledge with a broader audience, leading us to start our now very successful YouTube channel, Broadway Upholstery School. We expanded our brand further by launching an online store that offers upholstery supplies, custom cushions, and online classes. Inspired by Kevin's expertise and success, we aimed to consolidate all upholstery information into one location. We ran this new venture for a few years before finally merging it with Upholstery on Broadway Inc. in 2021.
