Our History

Founded in 1935, we are the oldest federal credit union in the state of Maine. We were originally chartered to serve the employees of the Press Herald and Evening Express. Over the years, we have grown and evolved to meet the changing needs of our members. Today, we are proud to serve over 10,000 members from various industries, including media, education, and healthcare.

Savings Accounts

With an initial minimum deposit of only $5, you can begin enjoying the benefits of credit union membership. Our savings accounts offer competitive rates and a range of features to suit your needs.

We offer a variety of loan products, including personal loans, mortgages, and credit cards. Our loan rates are competitive, and our application process is quick and easy.

Checking

Our share draft (checking) accounts have a low $3 monthly service charge, which is waived if you maintain a balance of $300 throughout the month.

Online Services

We offer a range of online services, including Home Banking, which allows you to access your accounts, transfer funds, and apply for loans from the comfort of your own home.
