BASCOL is dedicated to providing convenient, quality NYS licensed before and after school child care on location with engaging activities for children in grades K through 6th. Our mission is to support working parents by offering a safe, reliable, and fun environment for their children during out-of-school hours. We strive to foster creativity, learning, and socialization through a variety of activities tailored to the interests and needs of our students.

Our History

BASCOL was established in 1992 by a group of working parents in need of quality school age child care. Since then, we have grown to serve over 15 convenient locations in 6 school districts, providing care for thousands of children in the Syracuse and Central New York areas. Our commitment to quality and excellence has earned us a reputation as a trusted and reliable child care provider.

Our Professional Staff

At BASCOL, we believe that a great child care experience starts with great staff. Our team of dedicated professionals is committed to providing the best possible care and education for your child. All of our staff members are NYS certified and undergo background checks, rigorous training, and ongoing professional development. We are proud of our low staff-to-child ratios, which allow us to provide individualized attention and support to each child in our care.

Programs

BASCOL offers a variety of programs and services tailored to the needs and interests of working families. Our programs include:

• Before and After School Care: Our flagship program, offering quality care and education before and after school, during school vacations, snow days, and the summer.
• SHO Plus Program: A school holiday only program for parents who need care on school holidays, teacher in-service days and during school vacations.
• BASCOL Summer Program - Central Square & Liverpool: A summer program that offers a variety of fun and educational activities for children, including field trips, sports, arts and crafts, and STEM activities.
