Our Services

At Arboretum Psychological Services, we offer a wide range of psychological services tailored to meet the unique needs of each client. Our services include psychological evaluations, assessments, and consultations designed to address a variety of issues, including:

• Comprehensive Learning and Psychological Evaluations for academic and learning difficulties, such as Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, and Dyscalculia
• Psychological Assessments for attention and executive functioning issues, including Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
• Therapy services for anxiety, depression, social issues, family and relationship issues, and emotion regulation

Our Clinical Team

At Arboretum Psychological Services, we are proud to employ two experienced licensed psychologists, Dr. Yumi Hiraga and Dr. Angela Hungelmann. Both Dr. Hiraga and Dr. Hungelmann are dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals and families across the Seattle region.

Dr. Yumi Hiraga, Ph. D. is trained in comprehensive learning and psychological assessments, with expertise in areas such as reading, written language, math, attention and executive functioning, memory and learning, anxiety and mood, social issues, and gifted testing. Dr. Hiraga is also trained in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and has extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and adults.

Dr. Angela Hungelmann, Ph. D. specializes in pediatrics, with areas of expertise in learning and psychological assessments, pediatric neuropsychology, and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) for children and adolescents. Dr. Hungelmann has extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults struggling with anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and attention deficit disorders.

Payment and Insurance

At Arboretum Psychological Services, we understand that insurance can be complex. Both Dr. Hiraga and Dr. Hungelmann are out-of-network providers, and payment is due at the time of service. We accept credit card and health savings account cards for payment. We provide insurance receipts for clients who wish to submit claims for insurance reimbursement.
