For over 50 years, the Rutherford Pool has provided a summer getaway right in your backyard! Located at 4609 Marley Rd., Fairfax, VA 22032, our private community pool is owned and operated by its members. Since 1964, we have been a staple in the community, hosting families from Little Run Elementary, Canterbury Woods ES, Frost MS, and Woodson HS.
Our Mission
Our mission is to provide a fun and relaxing environment for our members and their families. We strive to create a sense of community by hosting various events, offering poolside activities, and promoting a fun and welcoming atmosphere. Our mission is to make sure everyone who walks through our gates feels like they are part of a community.
Services
We offer a variety of services and amenities to our members, including:
- A large swimming pool with a diving board, 11-foot tube slide, and dedicated lap lane
- A large shallow area, perfect for younger children to play and splash around
- A shaded area with lounge chairs and umbrella tables
- A volleyball court, ping pong table, and tetherball for some friendly competition
- A shaded baby pool for our youngest members
- A large covered pavilion with picnic tables and gas grills
- A pool basketball net for some friendly competition
- A fitness classes for adults and children, focusing on exercise and fun
Events
We host various events throughout the year, including social events, fundraisers, and pool-side activities. We believe that community is at the heart of our mission, and our events are designed to bring our members together and create lasting memories.
