TO JOIN, TO HEAL, TO CONNECT, TO THRIVE

The Emotional Health Center of Lancaster (EHC) was formed in 2014 by two friends, Ron Vogt and Doug Friesen, with a shared passion for providing holistic and emotionally responsive psychotherapy for individuals, families, and couples. Our center now includes Stephanie Sims, Casie Fisher, Dawn Sirois, and Lyndsie Cory. All of us are committed to supporting each other and you, our clients, in creating a life-sustaining, emotionally responsive, and compassionate culture for one another.

Our Mission

At EHC, we understand that entering into therapy takes courage. It takes courage to look at one's struggles and go near painful aspects of life. It takes courage to make changes; in the way we see ourselves, our relationships, and our future. As therapists, we see our role as not the agent of change, but as someone who 'walks with' the person who is courageously ready to change. We enjoy working with a wide-range of individuals, from children, teens, adults, and older adults, and have experience in treating numerous problems including depression, anxiety, OCD, behavioral issues in children and teens, and relationship issues in couples and families.

Our Services

In order to best serve you, we offer a wide variety of services. Our primary mode of care is Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), which is designed for a holistic approach to therapy. We also provide individual, couples, and family therapy, as well as treatment for depression, anxiety, OCD, behavioral issues in children and teens, and relationship issues in couples and families. Additionally, we have specialized training and experience in Emotionally Focused Therapy, the Gottman Method, and EMDR.

Meet Our Therapists

Our team of therapists is dedicated to providing compassionate and emotionally responsive care. Meet our therapists: Doug Friesen, Ph. D., Ronald Vogt, M.Div., Ph. D., Stephanie Sims, M.A., LMFT, Casie Fisher, MAMFT, Lyndsie Cory, MA, LMFT, and Dawn Sirois, MA, LMFT. Each of our therapists has specialized training and experience in various areas of therapy, including Emotionally Focused Therapy, the Gottman Method, EMDR, and more.

Our Approach

At EHC, we believe that healing requires a safe place to explore and touch deep emotions, including sadness, fear, anger, and joy. We understand that real change doesn't just come from the head, but from the heart. Our approach is centered around providing a compassionate and emotionally responsive culture for our clients. We believe that everyone deserves to live a life that is emotionally connected, whole, and fulfilling.
