At K2 Academy, we are dedicated to providing a safe, fun, and educational environment for children of all ages. Our mission is to promote a lifelong love of learning, sports, and the arts while instilling essential life skills such as teamwork, leadership, and self-confidence.

Our History

K2 Academy opened its doors in April 2005 with a small team of 10 employees. Our primary focus was on teaching recreational gymnastics, cheer, and tumbling. Over the years, we have grown and expanded our services to include a variety of programs that cater to children from 12 months to 16 years old.

Our Programs

We offer a wide range of programs designed to meet the diverse needs of our students. These include:

• Gymnastics Classes: Weekly classes for children ages 12 months to 16 years old. Our classes focus on teaching fundamental skills in a fun and supportive environment.

• Ninja Classes: A unique combination of gymnastics, obstacle course training, parkour, and strength training. This program is designed to challenge students physically and mentally while promoting teamwork and camaraderie.

• Tumbling Classes: Specialized classes focused on teaching tumbling skills such as cartwheels, handstands, and back handsprings. Students will learn proper technique and safety guidelines in a supportive environment.

• Private Lessons: One-on-one instruction tailored to meet the specific needs and goals of each student. Our experienced coaches work closely with students to help them achieve their full potential.

• Workshops/Clinics: Periodic workshops and clinics designed to provide students with specialized training in specific areas such as tumbling, vaulting, or beam work. These sessions are led by experienced coaches and offer a unique opportunity for students to gain valuable skills and knowledge.

• Adaptive Gymnastics (SOAR): A specialized program designed for children with special needs. Our trained coaches work closely with each student to create a safe and supportive environment that promotes physical activity, social interaction, and self-confidence.

• SOAR Day Camp: A day camp program designed specifically for children with special needs. This program offers a variety of activities including arts and crafts, music, and physical education tailored to meet the unique needs of each participant.

• Friday Night Fun: A fun-filled evening of games, activities, and gymnastics for children ages 3-12. This program is designed to provide a safe and supervised environment for kids to have fun and make new friends.

• Open Play: A designated time for children to engage in unstructured play on our gymnastics equipment. This program encourages physical activity, creativity, and social interaction.

• Birthdays/Celebrations: We offer a variety of themed birthday parties including gymnastics, cheer, and Nerf. Our experienced staff will handle all the details, ensuring a fun and memorable celebration for the birthday child and their guests.

• K2 Campus: A year-round preschool and after-school care program designed for children ages 18 months to 12 years old. Our campus offers a S.T.E.A.M. curriculum that integrates science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics into daily learning activities.

• Preschool: Our preschool program is divided into four age-specific classes: Armadillo (12-18 months), Blue Bonnet (18-36 months), Lonestar (3/4 year olds), and Magnolia and Monarch (4/5 year olds). Each class follows a structured daily schedule that includes both teacher-led and child-initiated activities designed to promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.

• Before and After School Care: Our before and after-school care program provides a safe and supportive environment for children to complete homework, engage in arts and crafts, and participate in physical activities. We offer transportation to and from local schools, making it convenient for working parents.

• Day Camps: We offer a variety of day camps throughout the year, including summer camps with weekly themes, field trips, and fitness-focused activities. Our camps are designed to provide a fun and engaging environment where children can make new friends, learn new skills, and create lasting memories.

Our state-of-the-art facility is equipped with top-quality gymnastics equipment, including spring floors, balance beams, uneven bars, and vaulting tables. We also have designated areas for tumbling, cheer, and adaptive gymnastics, ensuring that every student has the opportunity to learn and grow in a safe and supportive environment. Our campus features spacious classrooms, outdoor play areas, and a fully equipped kitchen, providing a comprehensive learning environment for our preschool and after-school care students.
