Our History

UTFCU's foundation is built on the principles of cooperation, integrity, and community involvement. Our story began in 1936, when a group of individuals from the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) came together to form a credit union, with the goal of providing financial assistance to the TVA employees and their families. Over the years, UTFCU has expanded its membership to include a broader range of individuals and businesses, while remaining committed to its core values.
