Community Spirits Credit Union

Community Spirit Credit Union, a not-for-profit organization, was founded in 1937 to serve the employees of Joseph E. Seagram & Sons in Lawrenceburg, Indiana and their families. The initial purpose of the credit union was to provide an affordable source of borrowing and to promote thrift among its members. Over the years, the credit union has expanded its services and now serves anyone working or residing in Dearborn, Ohio, Ripley, and Switzerland counties. Our mission is to provide reasonably priced financial services to our members, with the ultimate goal of improving their quality of life.

Our Services

At Community Spirit Credit Union, we offer a wide range of financial services aimed at meeting the needs of our members. Our services include but are not limited to:

• Loans: We offer various types of loans such as auto loans, personal loans, and mortgages to our members at competitive rates. Our loans are tailored to meet the unique financial needs of our members, and we offer flexible repayment terms.
• Savings Accounts: We offer a variety of savings accounts to help our members save for their future. Our savings accounts include regular savings accounts, Christmas savings accounts, and certificates of deposit.
• Credit Cards: Community Spirit Credit Union now offers credit cards to its members. If you are an existing credit card holder, you can pay your bill or view your recent credit card activity by following the link provided.
• Home Banking System: We offer a home banking system that can be accessed via computer or mobile phone. This system allows our members to view their account balances, transfer funds between accounts, and make loan payments at the credit union. Additionally, our home banking system offers a free bill pay service, eliminating the need for check writing, stamps, or trips to the post office.
• ATM/DEBIT Card: Our ATM/DEBIT card can be used to pay for purchases anywhere that accepts Visa, and it can also be used to withdraw cash from an ATM. There is an ATM on the front of our building, and our members can use any ATM within the Alliance One network without incurring any surcharges.
• Night Deposit Box: We have a night deposit box located next to the ATM for our members' convenience. Deposits made in the night deposit box are posted first thing the next business day.

Traveling with Your Debit Card

If you plan on traveling with your Community Spirit Credit Union debit card, we encourage you to notify us of your destinations. This is done to ensure the security of your purchases while traveling. Failure to notify us may result in your purchases not being approved.

Lost or Stolen Visa Credit Card or Debit Card

If your Visa Credit Card or Debit Card is lost or stolen, we advise you to call 1-855-460-0952 immediately. If you have any questions or concerns that arise after business hours, you can leave a voice mail message at 812-537-0928 or send an e-mail. We will respond the next business morning.
