Freetown Friends School

At Freetown Friends School, we are dedicated to providing a nurturing and engaging preschool environment for children aged 18 months to 3 years old. Our goal is to help young children develop a love of learning and to foster a strong foundation for future academic success.

Our Programs

Our programs are designed to meet the unique needs of each child, with a focus on play-based learning and exploration. Our experienced teachers use a variety of activities and materials to stimulate curiosity and creativity, including small manipulatives, creative and open play, singing, dancing, stories, outdoor play, and much more. Our flexible program offers enrollment options of 2, 3, 4, or 5 mornings a week to accommodate the needs of parents and children.

Admissions

To enroll your child, we require a one-time, non-refundable $25 registration fee, an annual supply fee of $100 (covering the cost of healthy snacks, juice, and art supplies), and a security deposit equal to one month's tuition. Space permitting, additional days can be scheduled to make up for absences. One month's notice is required to terminate enrollment, and failure to provide sufficient notice will result in forfeiture of the deposit.

Meet Our Director

Shelley, our director, has a passion for children that stems from her youth. With extensive experience in caring for children of all ages, Shelley is dedicated to providing a fun and engaging learning environment. Shelley's experience includes working with children from 1-3 years old, as well as older children with special needs. Her extensive knowledge of child development and her certification in CPR, First Aid, and EMAT set her apart as a leading expert in her field.

Meet Our Teacher

Amanda, our teacher, is excited to be working at Freetown Friends. Amanda graduated from Virginia Tech with a B.S. in Psychology and has a deep understanding of child psychology and development. With experience working with elementary school children and children with special needs, Amanda is a valuable addition to our team.
