Interfaith Campus Ministry

Interfaith Campus Preschool and Child Care Center, located in North Canton, OH, has been a pillar of the local community since 1977. Established as a joint effort by Interfaith Campus Ministry, John Knox Presbyterian Church, Stark State College, Kent State University, and the State of Ohio, the center was founded on the principles of providing a safe, affordable, accessible, and high-quality child care and learning environment for the families of the surrounding universities and community. Over four decades later, the center has grown and thrived, now serving nearly 100 children aged 6 weeks to 10 years old.

Our Programs

_Infants_

Our infant program offers a safe, warm, and welcoming environment for children aged 6 weeks to approximately 12 months. We understand the unique needs of infants and work closely with families to maintain consistent routines, foster healthy growth and development, and provide individualized care.

_Toddlers_

Our toddler program, designed for children aged 12 months to approximately 2.5 years, encourages exploration and discovery through a variety of engaging activities. Our dedicated teachers facilitate peer interaction, support emotional development, and promote language and cognitive skills.

_Preschool_

Our preschool program, tailored for children aged 2.5 to 5 years, focuses on preparing children for kindergarten through a curriculum that encourages social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Our experienced teachers employ a variety of teaching methods and materials, including art, music, literature, and science, to foster a lifelong love of learning.

_Before and After School Care_

Our before and after school care program caters to the needs of children aged 5 to 10 years, providing a safe and engaging space for children to relax, play, and complete homework. Our staff provides transportation to and from local schools, ensuring a seamless transition between school and child care.

Health and Safety
