Church Of The Lakes Child Care Center

Church of the Lakes Child Care is a Christian-based learning environment located in Jackson Township, Ohio, at the corner of Brunnerdale and Fulton. We are committed to providing high-quality care and education to children aged 2 1/2 and fully potty trained through 5 years old. Our center is state-licensed and offers a variety of programs, including preschool, transitional kindergarten, playgroup, and before and after-school care.

Our Philosophy

At Church of the Lakes Child Care, we believe that each child is a unique individual created in the image of God. Our staff recognizes the importance of balanced growth and provides opportunities for mental, physical, and emotional growth through a variety of creative experiences. We encourage children to learn and explore at their own pace in areas that interest them, fostering a love of learning and a positive self-image.

Our Services

Our Child Care Center serves children aged 2 1/2 and fully potty trained through 5 years old. Children registered in the Child Care Program participate in the AM Preschool Program, which runs from 9:00 to 11:30 am for 2 1/2 to 4-year-olds. Transitional Kindergarten runs from 9:00 to 12:00 pm. Children should attend class five days a week. Play Group is available from 11:30 am - 2:15 pm and costs $25.00 per day.

Before and After School Care is available from 6:30 am to 6:00 pm. The Jackson Local Schools will provide bus pickup and drop-off between the center and all Jackson Elementary Schools on normal school days. Arrangements must be made with the school when registering your child.

The goals of Church of the Lakes Child Care are to:

• Establish appropriate modes of behavior in social situations
• Maintain the child's positive self-image
• Enable a child to understand the principles of sharing in play situations
• Provide an environment conducive to the development of gross and fine motor skills
• Help the child achieve a sense of independence appropriate to his/her age level
• Provide an environment in which a child may develop his/her creativity
• Aid the child's development of listening and conversation skills
• Prepare a child for kindergarten

Enrollment

We appreciate and feel privileged that your family has chosen Church Of The Lakes Child Care Center for your child's care. To enroll your child, please complete the following forms and return them to secure your child's spot. All children registering are subject to a $50 registration fee for one child or $100 registration fee for a family registration (2 or more children) which must accompany all completed forms. The registration fee is non-refundable.
