At Borgo Sisters School of Dance, we take pride in our rich heritage of providing high-quality dance education to children and adults alike. Founded in 1934 by two sisters, Frances and Virginia Borgo, our institution has been dedicated to teaching young children to dance for nearly nine decades. Over the years, we have maintained a commitment to a non-competitive environment, where every student is made to feel welcome and valued.
Our Philosophy
Our philosophy is centered around providing a developmental approach to dance education. We believe that each student is unique and special, and we strive to create a nurturing environment that fosters self-confidence, poise, and a love for dance. Our instructors are trained to incorporate artistic expression, creativity, and physical activity, while emphasizing the importance of social skills, such as respect, etiquette, and good manners.
Our Services
At Borgo Sisters School of Dance, we offer a wide range of classes catering to students of all ages and skill levels. Our Comprehensive Class is a unique program that introduces students to various dance styles, including ballet, jazz, and basic gymnastics. This interactive class is designed to build a strong foundation in dance technique, coordination, and overall physical fitness.
Our Instructors
Our teaching staff is comprised of experienced dancers and educators who have dedicated their careers to sharing their passion for dance with others. Our instructors have undergone extensive training and have a deep understanding of child development and learning principles. Many of our teachers have danced with us as young children and have since transitioned to become mentors and role models for our students.
