Klesse Nutrition

Klesse Nutrition is a nutrition consultation service dedicated to providing personalized and practical nutrition plans that are effective and sustainable. Our focus is on behavior change, helping our clients to turn knowledge into action and create lasting habits. We specialize in weight management, disordered eating, oncology, and endurance sports nutrition. Our team is led by Melanie Klesse, MS, RD, a registered dietitian nutritionist with a Master's degree in Clinical Nutrition from New York University.

Melanie's personal journey as a runner and athlete has fueled her passion for empowering her clients to push past their self-imposed limits and reach their personal finish lines. In addition to her private practice, Melanie currently works at a cancer research biotech startup company, Faeth Therapeutics. She completed her clinical training at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, gaining valuable experience in oncology nutrition.

Our Services

At Klesse Nutrition, we offer a range of services tailored to meet the unique needs and goals of our clients. Our services include:

*Free Phone Consultation - 15 min*

In this complimentary phone session, you'll have the opportunity to learn more about our approach and see if we're a good fit to work together.

*Initial Session - 90 minutes*

This introductory session allows us to dive deeper into your nutrition and dieting history as well as your current lifestyle. Together, we'll develop a personalized plan that works for you.

*Follow Up Session - 45 minutes*

Follow-up sessions are scheduled according to your needs and goals, either weekly, biweekly, or monthly. During these sessions, we'll track your progress and make any necessary adjustments to your nutrition plan.

What Sets Us Apart

As a registered dietitian, Melanie Klesse has met rigorous education and training requirements. A registered dietitian is a regulated term, whereas the title "nutritionist" is not. When you choose Klesse Nutrition, you can trust that you're receiving expert advice from a true nutrition expert.

Unlike many other nutrition services, we do not accept insurance. This allows us to provide a higher level of care and engagement with our clients, free from the constraints and limitations imposed by insurance companies.

We strive to make our services accessible to everyone. We accept various forms of payment, including credit card, cash, check, or HSA/FSA cards. For those with insurance, we can provide a Superbill, or receipt of services, that you can submit for reimbursement.
