Who We Are

At the Catonsville Cooperative Preschool, we are committed to providing a nurturing and educational environment for our young students, aged two, three, and four years old. As a family-participation school, we believe that parents play a vital role in their child's educational journey. Our programs are designed to foster a sense of community among parents, teachers, and students, creating a warm and welcoming school environment.

The Co-op Experience

As a cooperative school, we offer a unique approach to early childhood education. Our programs are based on play, exploration, and hands-on learning, allowing children to discover and learn at their own pace. Our experienced teachers and parent volunteers work together to create a stimulating and engaging atmosphere, where children can grow, develop, and thrive.

Our Programs

We offer three programs: the 2's program, the 3's program, and the 4's (Prekindergarten) program. Each program is designed to meet the unique needs and abilities of our students, and is tailored to promote social, emotional, and cognitive development.

The 2's Program

Our 2's program is designed for children who are two years old at the start of the school year. In this program, the teacher leads the class, and the parent or caregiver attends with the child. This program is a wonderful opportunity for young children to begin their educational journey and develop social and emotional skills.

The 3's Program

Our 3's program is designed for children who are three years old at the start of the school year. This program is a cooperative classroom, meaning a teacher leads the class, and parents assist in the classroom on a rotating basis. This program is designed to promote social skills, emotional intelligence, and cognitive development.

The 4's (Prekindergarten) Program

Our 4's program is designed for children who are four years old at the start of the school year. This program is also a cooperative classroom, and parents assist in the classroom on a rotating basis. This program is designed to prepare students for kindergarten and beyond, promoting academic and social development.
