Uncover Your Inborn Sources of Creativity and Vitality
At Connie Batten Psychotherapy, we understand that seeking the help of a psychotherapist can be a difficult decision, often driven by feelings of disconnection from our internal sources of clarity and vitality, or from the desire for healthier relationships with ourselves and others. Our purpose is to assist you in uncovering your innate sources of creativity and vitality, both within yourself and in your connections with others.
We recognize that each individual's journey is unique, and that life transitions, spiritual crises, grief, relationship distress, and the search for meaning can be challenging and overwhelming. We also understand that issues such as anxiety, depression, life-threatening illnesses, and unresolved traumatic experiences can impact your well-being and your relationships.
Our approach to psychotherapy is centered around creating a safe and compassionate environment where you can explore your feelings, thoughts, and experiences without fear of judgment. We believe that healing occurs when we enter with mercy and awareness into those areas we've withdrawn from in fear and judgment, as Stephen Levine so eloquently put it.
We offer a range of services designed to enhance your sense of choice, increase your self-awareness, and foster compassion and empathy for yourself and others. Whether you're dealing with a specific issue or simply looking to improve your overall well-being, we are here to support you on your journey towards greater understanding and connection.
