Our Journey

Our journey began as a love for the nourishing and comforting bread we served at our former restaurant. As demand for our homemade loaves soared, we knew we needed to expand. With limited capital, we innovated and connected with our community through a bread club subscription model. This incredible support allowed us to purchase a proper bread oven in 2016 and launch Little Red Hen Bakery in 2019.

Each loaf of bread at Little Red Hen Bakery is meticulously crafted with natural methods. We utilize a young sourdough starter for a gentle leavening, resulting in flavorful, slightly acidic loaves. Our skilled bakers pay meticulous attention to every step, from mixing and shaping the dough to ensuring consistent perfection.
