At Crescent Lotus Dance Studio, we believe that dance is a doorway to understanding and taking ownership of our bodies. Our mission is to provide a safe and positive environment for personal exploration and the building of community through the timeless, borderless art of dance.
Our Story
Crescent Lotus Dance Studio opened its doors in February 2007, and since then, it has become a sanctuary and second home for many students and instructors. Our studio is proud to be home to the NOLAmazigh, The Wiggling Navels of Crescent Lotus, Liquid Rhythm Inc. Salsa, and New Orleans' first Pound Fitness class. We are also a Fat Chance Belly Dance sister studio and a founding member of New Orleans Dance Network.
Services
We offer a wide range of services to cater to diverse interests and needs. Our classes are open to adults 16 and older, and we welcome all genders, preferences, races, and religions. Our classes include:
