Morton's Seafood Restaurant, located on the beautiful Tchefuncte River in Madisonville, Louisiana, has been a tradition in the community since 1985. We take pride in serving fresh, local seafood in a warm and inviting atmosphere. Our menu features a wide variety of dishes, from Appetizers to Entrees, including our signature Catch of the Day, freshly made Specialty Martini, and local in-season seafood.

Our Story

Owned and operated by Dawn Davis, Morton's has been a staple in the community since 1985. Morton Davis opened the restaurant in 1985, and Dawn became a partner in 1991, purchasing it in 2000 when Morton retired from the industry. Davis and her staff have been active in St. Tammany Parish, participating in fishing rodeos and charity events whenever possible. Davis' commitment to quality food preparation and service is evident, and in 2006, she was elected president of the Louisiana Restaurant Association, where she was an effective and respected leader.

Our Cypress Room is available for private events, accommodating up to seventy people, overlooking the beautiful Tchefuncte River.
