Our Story

Meet Dave Chambers, the face behind Dave the Wine Merchant. With decades of passion for wine, Dave has built a reputation for his discerning palate and extensive knowledge of the wine world. His journey began in corporate marketing, where he traveled to winegrowing regions around the globe. Eventually, he founded his own private wine consulting business, which led to the launch of the Sideways Wine Club and the Sideways Wine Bar. In 2009, he rebranded the wine club as 'Dave the Wine Merchant' and has since expanded his services to serve customers worldwide.
