It's the relationship that heals. We value connection above all else.
At Southern California Psychology Centers, APC, we understand that the world has grown more complex, and it can feel like the ground beneath us has shifted. Most of us were never exposed to the foundations of mental health and how those inform what kinds of changes we can make to feel better and function with purpose. Talk therapy and sometimes medications can make an enormous difference in helping us adapt and unlock growth.
Our Services
We offer a broad spectrum of behavioral health care services, including therapy, testing and assessment, child psychiatry, medications, addictions/Suboxone maintenance, biofeedback, eating disorders treatment, and uniformed services testing. Our team of mental health professionals is dedicated to helping you through whatever challenges you face, providing accurate diagnoses and personalized treatment plans.
Our Approach
We believe that it's the relationship that heals, and we value connection above all else. Our clinicians and staff are trained to listen and understand your perspective and experiences without judgment, applying scientifically-tested therapeutic strategies to help you adapt and thrive. We want you to feel connected to your therapist, and a big part of that is feeling like you have an ally in that person.

We accept many different insurance health plans, including Blue Shield, Aetna, Healthnet/MHN, TriCare, Worker's Comp, PPO Out of Network, Molina, Cigna, Humana, Medicare, and Medi-Cal. Unprofessional Office Staff and Neglectful Care
Several reviewers have expressed frustration with the office staff, citing rudeness and unprofessional behavior. Ben There, Shaq Lewis, and Jane Doe all mentioned being treated poorly by the office staff, with one reviewer even being hung up on during a phone call. Gerald Davis and Correa'S. Wittle Korner also experienced poor treatment from the front desk, with the former describing the staff as "caring and concerned" but ultimately unhelpful.
In addition to poor office staff, several reviewers mentioned neglectful care from the therapists and providers. Gerald Davis criticized a psychiatrist for being unresponsive and unavailable, while Correa'S. Wittle Korner described a therapist who ignored court orders and forced a child to participate in therapy sessions. Anthony Martelli, while praising the therapists, expressed frustration with the front desk staff, citing rudeness and inefficiency.
Lack of Respect for Patients and Poor Communication
Many reviewers felt disrespected by the office staff and providers. Shaq Lewis was diagnosed with depression without being given a thorough evaluation, while Gerald Davis's daughter was treated similarly with minimal attention. Correa'S. Wittle Korner described a therapist who ignored court orders and pretended they were not aware of them.
The lack of communication and poor customer service was also a common theme. Anthony Martelli struggled with getting a new Zoom link every time, and several reviewers mentioned difficulty in getting their questions answered or concerns addressed.
