The Ohio City Bicycle Co-op (OCBC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the use of bicycles in the greater Cleveland community. Our mission is to empower individuals and families to use bicycles as a means of transportation, recreation, and personal growth. We believe that bicycles have the power to bring people together, foster independence, and promote a healthier lifestyle.
Our Services
At OCBC, we offer a range of services to support our mission. Our 12,000 square foot mechanic shop is equipped with the latest tools and equipment, and is staffed by a team of experienced bike mechanics and volunteers. We offer a wide range of services, including:
- Bicycle repair and maintenance: Our team of mechanics is dedicated to keeping your bike in top condition. From minor adjustments to major overhauls, we have the expertise and resources to get your bike running smoothly.
- Bike riding classes: Whether you're a beginner or an experienced rider, we offer classes designed to teach you the skills and techniques you need to ride confidently and safely.
- Fix-athons: Join us for a fun and social event where we'll help you repair and restore your bike. All tools and expertise provided!
- Bike valet parking: Leave your car at home and park your bike with us during special events and outings.
- Parts and accessories: Browse our selection of new and used parts and accessories for your bike.
- Tune-ups and overhauls: Let us take care of the maintenance and repairs for your bike, so you can focus on riding and enjoying the freedom of cycling.

- Pay What You Can Program: We believe that everyone deserves access to bicycles, regardless of their financial situation. Our Pay What You Can program makes it possible for anyone to purchase a refurbished bike or access our repair services at an affordable price.
- Fix-athons: Join us for a fun and social event where we'll help you repair and restore your bike. All tools and expertise provided!
- Bike rodeos: Join us for a fun and interactive event where we'll teach you bike safety and maintenance skills.
- Public shop use: Visit our shop during open hours and explore our selection of refurbished bikes, parts, and accessories.
Our History
The Ohio City Bicycle Co-op has a rich history dating back to 2001, when a group of committed volunteers from Cleveland's small bike-advocacy movement came together to create a resource for bike education in the community. Since then, we've grown and evolved to meet the needs of our community, offering a range of services and programs that promote the use of bicycles as a means of transportation, recreation, and personal growth.

Overall Experience
